Thanks to everyone for your input. I changed the subject of the post.

Has anyone used stainless brake lines? If I'm going to change out the rest of the system, it seems like a good time to change out or upgrade the original brake lines. I haven't seen a source for them. Any suggestions?

Are you speaking of the entire brake line system or just the flexible hoses near the ends of each run? I put new automec copper/nickel brake lines in during my rebuild topped off with goodridge stainless flex hoses at each wheel.

Checkout ClassicTube they make almost any brake line in Stainless or OEM steel. Most kits are prebent.

We installed a replacement stainless steel tubing kit from https://www.classictube.com in a 1800ES and it turned out well. Was definitely worth the cost after adding up all of the lines in a disc brake equiped 1800, the slight additional cost was worth having them ready to go.

They don't list any Triumphs, but they do custom replacements if you send them your old lines.

Yes they do: Tr6. Use all years instead of specific year.

I bought a set of pre-bent stainless lines from Classic Tube about 10 years ago for my MGB. In fact, I think I sent them mine for making a CNC template. They fit perfectly; very satisfied customer.
