Couldn't find the post I made, or at least,though I made about fuel line connectors.
Finally found the ones I will use.
They are made by Swagelok and look like it's a pretty nice deal.
Interesting thing too. The 5/16" fuel line sold by Dorman for repairs for factory fuel line is actually 8mm.
No wonder I had a hard time trying to get the 5/16" ferrule over the line
