T-Series connecting rod bolts

I read in the moss cat. that there is a set of improved big end bolts, is it common to have a big end bolt failure? any experience from t series owners would be appreciated. Saltiga

More important (or at least as important) is the gudgeon pin pinch bolt at the little end of the rod - they take a tremendous amount of strain and need to be a premium bolt. I believe that Tom Lang https://www.mgtrepair.net/index.html carries the correct bolts for that application.

I totally agree! Also two things to remember, torque up to but not over 25 foot pounds and while doing so, don't hold the rod by the big end, hold it by the pin, otherwise you might bend the rod, or so I've been told. PJ
