build quality and Chapman aren't often used in the same sentence...

meh... he's attributed with sayin' he didn't care if the things disintegrated into a thousand pieces... right after they crossed the finish line. FIRST!

None of these lumps we insist on maintaining and driving were EVER expected to go on for forty years and more. We're beating the averages with every last one of 'em.

Hi There Basil,

Without your vision, & passion for LBCs. I suspect none of us would be here. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bow.gif

Facebook is a slightly grown up version of myspace.

Facebook is where my wife disappears to each evening. I have to send her a message to ask if I need to put another log on the fire, or if she wants a drink!

100,000, huh?

Bluuuf !!

It surely did take a few thousand team effort posts to
educate this auto mechanically challenged stone cutter
so as to restore a badly Pedro-ized, broken down, bucket
of bolts, 1969 TR6.

Might well be the very first internet, virtual mechanics,
classic car restoration. Who knows?

I gotta tell ya, this BCF project car of mine has got to
bring a big grin to Basil's face.

Thanks for the help- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif

Paul We Are gunna hookup and Cruise this spring Riiiiight??...

I'll meet ya in Mystic!

Bill,

I plan to do just that this summer.

Spare engine tear down begins late next week. I can't wait!!

If all goes well, I may be cruising with the new engine in rather than waiting until fall. But that's a long shot, so I'll be ready for summer with what I have now.

I'm really looking forward to driving it on the roads with the new suspension & brake systems. All I need to do is adjust the exhaust to tilt the muffler properly and I'm ready to roll.
