I didn't make the (pretty much last show of the season) San Juan Bautista show this weekend. But I learned today that my good buddy and BC Forum contributor, Roger Conte (AUSMHLY), took first a place with his '64 BJ8. Congrats on this Roger. Your car is stunning and the award is well deserved.

Roger, I was there but didn't see you. I saw your car but didn't realize it was yours. Very nice. We came down in the car you UN-DENTED due to the present state of the Healey (all over the garage). Way to go! It was a great show with lots of Healeys and a ton of others LBCs. Many, many XKEs (you missed some neat ones, Basil.)and even a few 120s and 140s.Cute town with one of the original California Missions. And the Mexican food was about the best I've ever had outside of Mexico.

Way to go Roger. A little appreciation of your efforts.

I've got some digitals and also some from Clovis the week before. I'm not great with photos on the computer so I can have my wife send them to you if you want. I took mostly Healeys.
