It is my understanding that the TR3 fuel gauge and sending unit operates at 300 ohms empty and 0 ohms full and that the TR4 "early" sending unit is the same as the TR3 sending unit in terms of ohms but the TR 4"A "unit is the 0 empty 90 full ohm reading? Is this correct? If so can it be said that a TR3 sending unit would work with a TR4 gauge but not with a 4A gauge.
