Confused about the oil separator

So my goodparts oil separator arrived today. It's left me a bit confused in that it has 3 bungs. Two on the bottom - one in from the valve cover and one out to the fp blanking plate - and one at the top to go to the carbs.

Now I don't have carbs, so this leaves me with a little problem. Do I:

<span style="font-weight: bold">1. leave it open?</span>
Seems if I do this, I might as well not have it at all.

<span style="font-weight: bold">2. close it off?</span>
If I do does that mean I'll have pressurization?

<span style="font-weight: bold">3. do something else?</span>
That I clearly don't know about...

Oh and finally - Dale, when you read this pm me with your address and I'll send you the fuel pump fittings I have on hand.

Re: Confused about the oil seperator

Sure seems like you'd need to get some negative pressure from somewhere to get the oil vapors in there doesn't it?

Re: Confused about the oil seperator

Yeah - I mean I could probably put a T on the intake manifold hookup to the line to the brake servo, and pull from there, but it would be a pita to do, and would look ugly.

The same statement holds true for drilling and tapping an extra takeoff - I have precisely zero desire to take this thing off to do that.

Well let me know what you come up with.

Re: Confused about the oil seperator

I was going to, but that doesn't get me an answer tonight. Instant gratification and all that...

Impatient are we??

Actually his contact ,I think is his cell. It's only 10:30. Might still be up. Or you might just get him P.O'd. Kind of a wash maybe.

I got a reply from Richard. He said to T into the servo line and add a PCV. I ordered the pieces and I'll follow his suggestion. It'll only be a 5 minute job when they arrive.
