I finally got finished photographing the current show at America On Wheels. We currently have concept cars and custom cars on display, including the 1955 Hudson Italia concept car and the 1958 Dual Ghia 400, plus a very unattractive 1948 4-door Studebaker customized by George Barris. This car was lost for years and then found in a barn and is shown as found in un-restored condition. Visit my photos on Flickr to see some of this show. It will be at America On Wheels in Allentown PA for a few more months.

Hope to see these when we're there on Jan 30th for the VRG meeting.

(OK....maybe not the Studebaker :jester: )

Sounds like 12:00 noon to some time after 4 PM. Here's the note we got from Mark Palmer (VRG club president) a while back

.....We're planning on having a VRG Board meeting on Saturday, January 30th at the "America on Wheels" Museum in Allentown, PA. The plan is to start at 12:00 noon, with a light lunch in the meeting room. Adjourn the meeting at 4:00 PM. There will be a guided tour of the Museum at 4:00 for those who wish to stay. I'm sure some of us will stick around for dinner at a local restaurant, afterwards......

Cool stuff. The "surfari" has me drooling! Gotta say, I think the Hudson Itialia may be a plumbers car.... Right there, just above the rear licence plate and up into the decklid... that body line looks just like a, um.. well it's a feature attributed to plumbers...
