Dale,
Just so you will know, car batteries come in standard sizes generally known as "group number". The group number covers battery voltage, dimensions, mounting, terminal style and location. The numbers are defined by BCI (and hence sometimes known as BCI numbers). So, after you've found a battery listed to fit the TR6, you can ask it's BCI number and then any other battery with that same BCI number will physically fit.
BCI doesn't publish their specifications on the Internet, but you can find them at any number of other sites, eg
https://www.labatteries.com/specifcations_exide.htm
However, the TR6 battery box is huge, much larger than the battery itself; and the angle clamp is very adjustable; so almost anything with the right terminals in the right place will fit. So, for example, a Group 34 battery (which is probably the most common top-post battery on the market) will fit fine. But you could also use a Group 24 or 27 or 72 or no doubt many others.
ISTR that the original specification was for a Group 24, but I could be mistaken about that.
