So, I was in oshawa yesterday and picked up the coolest of cool books. See attached, this is a Data Book for every car in Canada 1957-1963, including, the usual suspects & Austin, Borgward, Citroen, Fiat, British Ford, german Ford, Hansa, Humber, Lloyd etc. and it has EVERTHING!
For instance, did you know that the effective service brake area of a MkII sprite is 67.5 sq inches or that it has 54% braking at front. Or that the steering axis Inclination on a Midget (61-63) is 6.5%. Friends this takes trivia and obsession to a whole new level. Anyway, in order to share my joy, I have scanned the book. They are all Jpegs.
Here then is my question,
Is there an easy way to convert to a PDF booklet that does not involve me buying expensive software like Adobe Acrobat and hopefully does allow the document to be searched?
Here is the cover

and here is what a page looks like

BTW - I just want to share my joy, if anyone can do this, I'm happy to send the scans though they are big - 2 meg per.
thanks all
