I got a Husky 7hp 60 gallon from Home Depot. They used to be Cambell Hausfield or whatever. Great units and last a long time. I Paide $375 for mine. I think they are ~$429 now. Mine was made in the US, I don't think the new ones are. IMO the cast iron compressor units are the best. MIne's a real workhorse for what it is.
 
I bought a HF 60 gal, 130 psi, 12+ cfm, 220 volt for $400 that I have been very happy with. Can't seem to out run it with 3/8" hose.
