GT6 Compression for a 1969 GT6

Does anyone know what the cylinder compression should be on a 1969 GT-6? Thanks, David K.

I agree with Andy.....the key is to not have too much variation between the cylinders, 5-10% is about right.
I can't honestly remember, but I think my compression was higher than 130, I will try to find where I put the numbers. Either way consistency across all the cylinders is what you want.

[/ QUOTE ]Could well be. I might have been "remembering" numbers from my '72 MkIII GT6, with the lower compression "Federal" engine! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Thanks for the input. I'm getting 130 to 140 on a cold engine. David K.
