well I poked my head in the foot well and found a nice Rust hole, on further and the floor of the box under the Hood vent was 2 inches deep with rust flakes and paper oddly enough.
so How do i get in there? do I pull the Dash or do I take off the panel behind the heater?
the vent on the jag is rusted fast just for the record.

ouch vacumed about a liter of Rust out of the heater box area.
I guess ill have to rig up some sort of plastic drain sysetm after i rust neutralis everything in sight.

That's quite the pile of rust!

On a MGB there should be a water drain from that air inlet -- assuming you mean the inlet between the bonnet and windscreen. As for the area under the heater, don't know about that spot, haven't been in there yet on my car.

yeah found the Water drain rubber tube still connected to the the down pipe but the floor it was welded to was gone. I ll have to rig up something in plastic. Ill wire brush everything and then primer it then put back the heater.
