I wander through another (British Forum) regularly - much more into customizing etc. etc.

There is a fellow who I watched restore and create a Race Hauler for his Big Healey - (Frankenhealey). this thread is well worth the read.

More to the point he recently acquired a gas turbine engine - and guess what he is planning to put it in? (he is not into fabrication yet) but, anything called a SpridJET ... :D

I haven't taken the time to read much, but up to page 23 and the pictures of all the trucks and especially the transporters are simply fantastic. On page 30 are some shots of a Mercedes that are stunning. I will continue perusing and maybe spend some time this winter reading all 66 pages. Unbelievable project indeed ! Thanks !
