Most of you don't know that my wife Carla is a full-time student at Western Kentucky University. She's doing a double Major in Agriculture (Equine Science) and Business Administration. I'm so proud of her that I can't even express it. She's making it all on grants and scholarships, taking 18 credit hours per semester, is in the Honors College, and maintaining a 3.92GPA. She's also on the WKU Intercollegiate Equestrian Team and was # 11 in her class Nationally last year. There are over 5,000 people competing in this competition. She's in a horse show today and tomorrow in Cookeville, TN and OF COURSE I'm hoping she gets blue ribbons and goes to the National Finals again!!

Carla gets embarrassed when I brag but, I can't help being so proud of her accomplishments. I couldn't begin to ask for a better wife and life partner. Just had to say this...hope ya'll don't mind.

Pretty Impressive - wish her luck! And (and it must be said) doing equine studies and business shows a lot of good old fashioned horse sense!

Thanks JP...it DOES show old fashioned horse sense !! Carla just called and she won 2nd place today.

Congrats!

A little "blues" for Carla.... Congrats to her!
