TR6 Commission Plate

I'm just about done with the full restoration on my 1971 TR6. I have a new commission plate that obviously is a reproduction. I need to stamp the commission number, paint code, etc. Does anyone know where I can get a set of stamps? Thanks for your help, Bob
 
For my TR4 commission plate (which STC thoughtfully placed just below the master cylinders on LHD cars) I used the 1/8" set sold by Harbor Freight:

The font was pretty good except the top half of the '3' was round and the original had a flat-top '3'. The '4' may also have been slightly different - an open '4' vs one where the top comes to a point (like in this message's font). I didn't have any 4's in mine so I do not recall for sure.

To stamp it I used a simple jig with the spacing of the original marked and thick enough to keep the stamps vertical as I offered them to the plate.

Good idea to practice a bit to get the force of the strike right. As I recall, it all worked best with a very solid surface underneath (like the anvil of a big vise). Doesn't take a very hard smack to get the result.

Again, this was for a TR4 -- you'll want to confirm the font & size on a TR6.
 
On a TR3 I took the new and old plate to a local jeweler. Then I used a trophy shop on another car. The jeweler did the better job. I will add that they were engraved not stamped. But they looked very original.
