Column Lock Assembly/Wiring

I have my ignition lock assembly out of my 72 TR6. I understand all the wires that go to the switch on the back. However, there is one wire that attaches to the side of the lock assembly itself. (not the back like all the others)Anyone know where that goes and what that wire is for??

thanks

Thanks

on my 71 it is green with a black stripe and causes the buzzer to sound when the key is left in the ignition switch. I left mine unplugged BTW.
