Color change...impact on Value?

My BJ8 is finally due to leave the paint shop in about 3 weeks time in its originally colour of healey blue.
Then it's time to re assemble the car and the red interior (not original colour).

So hopefully in a few weeks I should be able to post a pic of the completed car with blue body and red interior.

That is magnificent! It's all about picking the right shade of light blue!!! I wish i had that color code!

I am not sold on original colors. A friend restored a car in Black over leaf green, with leaf green interior. It was a BN4 and sold at auction for much more than most BN4 models. It just takes one buyer and as someone else pointed out, it is your car, do what you want with it. In general most people keep these cars so value is what you think it is.
