Coldplugs lunch

I've not had the opportunity to meet anywhere near the number of BCF members I'd like to meet. Tuesday however, I had the pleasure of meeting and having lunch with coldplugs and his wife! They were on a western state Odyssey which had them driving through Albuquerque. He PM'd me to tell me when he would be in the area and I was able to meet them at a local Mexican restaurant for some of New Mexico's best!

John, thanks again for the book! It was great fun meeting you and you wife!

WOW!!!

No cheeseburgers involved?!?! :smirk:

...and he can't wander around his own neighborhood to look up a fellow mechanism freak...

 :jester:

Jus' pushin' yer laig, John.

Nope, no cheeseburgers. (But the lyrics linger...)

We enjoyed finally meeting Basil. One thing I wanted to know was how much time he spends on this forum & how he manages to keep everything on an even keel. I'm amazed at the work he puts in (although he credits his moderators for much of the success).

Also - the Mexican food was outstanding!

Thanks for the forum, Basil.

The Mexican place was just fine, thank you. We have good cheeseburgers in Maine, but Mexican.... not really.

Currently in Sedona AZ. Big change from our last visit. Rotarys everywhere, very crowded.

Doug, not on this trip. We both have relatives & friends in both northern & southern CA so I'm sure we'll be passing through again before too long. I'll let you know - it'd be great to meet you & also to see that section of Eureka we missed last time.

Doug, things are heating up in the SC move again

John,

I'll probably be here.
Don,

Glad to here, but probably have a better chance
of meeting you in the Seattle area.

- Doug

Better get you back side up here then.
