plugs are basically self cleaning, as long as the cylinder is firing. As you know there are different heat ranges of plugs to keep them in the correct temperature window, hot enough to burn off the 'crud' and cool enough not to cause pre ignition. Mixture has an effect on cylinder temperature but should not be vastly different from cylinder to cylinder.
The first thing is to ensure that the correct grade is fitted, and the manufacturer's recommendation is usually best. If they are then fouling and there is a lot of deposits on the tip then it may be worth trying a softer, i.e. hotter runnning plug. If it is merely wet then look to an ignition malfunction.
