Don't know if we have some Stephen Colbert fans out there, but that ending of his show was touching.
The parade of stars (political, musical, entertainment, news, sports, etc.) was rather entertaining as they all sang "We'll Meet Again." The diversity was amazing... Kareem to Kissinger... Willie Nelson to Mitch Kapor... George Lucas to Brokaw... Ken Burns to Huffington... Olberman to Charlie Rose... Mandy Patinkin to Patrick Stewart... Big Bird to Randy Newman... Francis Collins (NIH) to James Franco... Bob Costas to Alan Alda... Yo Yo Ma to Jeff Daniels... Mike Huckabee to Stone Philips...

Colbert fan here, but of course missed that final show. Thanks for the Vera Lynn (!) link - very appropriate for Colbert, to be sure.

PS - Dame Vera is the oldest living artist to have a record in the UK top 20 chart. Her 2014 album of WW2 songs marks the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Wow - and good on her for keeping hope alive during a rotten time for Britain.

Hey Mark - I just found those before's and after's. Great tribute to a man who got many people asking questions, and laughing at the inanity of today's world. I like Trebek's comment "All of life's important answers must be in the form of a question".

Yes, that was the very best line in the segment. He asked "where shall we go, and what shall we do?" [followed by Trebek's comment] Loved that.

Great! Thanks for the link!
