Hey guy's been away for some time. I had a great summer and fall racked up about 8000 miles on the sprite. But now its time for rubber. Has anyone used the Coker 155/80's on their sprite? I currently have 155's on mine and they work great. The wife is wanting WWW tires this go around. Only thing I had to do this fall was put a new exhaust system and brakes. I replaced the complete system along with the fuel tank and lines. Over the winter so far I have done a tune up and the brake system is all new. The mountains here in Kentucky can be a little rough on brakes but the back roads make for great driving. I hope all have had a great holiday season. Thanks for any help Willy.
 
Willy, Bill Warren '59Diamond in San Diego has a set along with excellent rims he has for sale. These are wide white walls just purchased within last few months. He purchased another BE from someone on this list and these tires were not included as part of the sale of his Red BE. I know these WWW tires are not cheap. I can leg him know you are interested.

The tires are firestone 520-13 two inch whitewalls. They cost me $150 each plus $100 to mount them and balance them for a total of $700 plus a $100 for the four rims.
So I have $800 total in them. I will sell the tires including the rims for $450.00 just to get them out of my garage. I bought them in August 2013 so they have less then 500 miles on them.
 
That sound cool. Can you post some pics for me, I am waiting on my income taxes, will the rims fit my 68 sprite? My wife is wanting a hard top. We found one local but with no glass and the guy wouldn't deal so had to pass. Looked at those smooth line has anyone here got one and how did they like them?
 
I don' know if they will fit a 68 sprite. I bought them at a place called Motorspot Inc. in Fallbrook California. I went there and picked up the tires for $143 each plus tax. I could have had them shipped to me for $159 plus tax, but by picking them up I saved $16 a tire and they were only about 60 miles from me. the rims and tires fit a 58-60 Bugeye. Motorspot is a distributer for Coker Classic tires. You can look them up on the web or call them at 760-731-8303.
If you want my tires and rims we would have to figure out how to ship them from San Diego to Kentucky
 
Wily those tires & rims will fit your '68. They are mounted on Bugeye wheels now.
 
**** I didn't see you are on the west coast. What do you think shipping would cost? I know it won't be 17 a wheel. What color are your rims are they on ebay?
 
The rims are the gray color of bugeye rims and are in pretty nice condition. Each tire and rim weighs about 28 pounds.
My zip code is 91902 so I think you can contact UPS and ask how much to ship about 112 pounds to your zip code.

It is much easier for me to E-mail pictures via E-mail then put them on the forum.
 
greyhound gps is lowest price, then the us post office. I have found in the past fedx and ups are really high on tires.
