Coffee Crisis!!!

Our coffee maker seems to have committed seppuku. Gulped some grounds down into its "pump" orifice in an overflow incident. I prepped it for today in the dark, apparently mis-aligned the basket. It pumped the basket full and then pumped backflow into the water supply side, ingesting grounds into the intake... not worth resuscitation, it will receive a back-yard burial with full military honors.

I did salvage half a pot, tho. But have to 'filter' the grounds thru me teeth. :highly_amused:

Easier and more efficient to just chew the beans.

Ooo doc without coffee. in Florida in hurricane season - which is worse doc without coffee or a hurricane?

(I know, it's a rhetorical question - we all know the answer. )

Not coffee makers but you'll understand why:

Name and address, email addy? Nope!

Plan B: Resort to the old L.O.C. glass percolator.

May first try a Heimlich Maneuver on the clogged unit... where's th' solar plexus on a coffee maker?

I'd drink water from the cat's bowl before I'd touch that "instant" swill.
