Today was the 7th anniversary of our monthly event. They estimated 1500 cars and that's only a little more than usual. My granddaughter brought this Nova, twin turbos expected to produce 2100hp. So far they have only cranked the boost to 21 lbs for 1800. And the car is completely streetable. The other photo is the largest group of Brits I saw. All 3 very nice though.

Our Caffeine and Octane is tomorrow morning. I'll try and snap some pics of anything interesting.
The engine in that Nova is INSANE. Reminds me of the twin turbo Mustang Ken Brock built for Pikes Peak. Just enormous turbos cramming air into that engine. It's hard for my brain to wrap itself around HP numbers in street cars that a couple decades ago were reserved for pro level drag racers that tore engines down every few runs.

Reminds me of the 20 - 25 ft boat with four (4) 350 HP outboards
on it! I would have loved to seen it in action.
Your granddaughters car is nice.

Since my toys are a Sprite and VW with about the same hp and a Prefect with about half that, you might guess that I'm not that interested in excess power. But it is beautifully done. I just hope they can manage to recover some of what it cost to build.
