A friend of mine is building (or rather having one built) a Cobra Daytona replica, exact down to the decals and racing numbers. I think that's pretty nifty, to coin an American phrase. He presently owns a Ford truck hot rod which is gorgeous, and he is selling this to help finance the Daytona project. He also owns an MGB, and I have tried to get him to join the forum (honestly Basil) but to no avail. I'll have to post pictures of it when it's completed. Just thought you might be interested.....it's going to be one heck of a nice toy when it's done /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
 
Virginia International Raceway has a Daytona Coupe replica that they use for a pace car. Way cool!!
They always were a gorgeous car.
Just out of curiosity, who is building it?
