Clutch slave upside down

So explain to me why the bleeder and hydrolic lines cannot be reversed on the clutch slave cylinder on a BJ8. Same thread. It would be easier to bleed. Has anyone tried it?
 
I think the bleed port should be at the high point of the cylinder (where the air will be).

Why not get the bleeder extension kit from Doug Reid? Worth every penny.

That theoretically is true. However, i find letting it hang on its own rubber line and pushing the cylynder in by hand works great.

That slave cylinder fits lots of other cars. No telling whether it goes on a Healey or a a Hindustan Landcrusher. Stay within the laws of physics... air rises in a fluid. Yes, reverse the screw.
