Hopefully this is a good reproduction of Doug Reid's 6 cylinder clutch bleeder extension. Steel hard line, fittings from FedHill, powder coated bracket. Uses your bleed screw. Same price that Doug sold them for in 2006 - $35 plus shipping. Priority Mail (within US) is $10 per box and several extensions can be shipped in the same box. Payment via PayPal, but send me an private message first so I can confirm that I have the number of extensions you want. Currently have a dozen left.

Bob, this ad was a time travel trip for me. Doug was a good friend of my wife and me, and used our BN4 and Bugeye to design the lines for the bleeders. Both our cars have the extensions installed (by Doug shortly before he passed away), and I can attest that they work great and save a lot of stress on my 72 year old body! Good luck selling the ones you have.

Larry, thanks for the reply. I wasn't aware that Doug had made a bleeder extension for the Sprites. I have his fuel and brake line sets installed on our tri-carb. Doug's pieces were top notch and he was always helpful.

Cheers,

His intentions were to make one for multiple models, I have the Bugeye version, waiting for me to install it. Recently removed during slave replacement.

I can take one, probably by end of weekend.

Sorry for the delay, photo coming soon.

Sorry for the delay, life got in the way…

I have just shipped the last one. If you would like one, let me know and when I get a few names, I'll make another batch. I did make a donation to the Donald Healey Memorial Fund in Doug's memory at the AHCA's delegate's meeting this past November.

Question: is there a need for one for the Toyota 5 speed conversion?

Thanks for the pictures. There are a couple for the Sprite being sold by Ol Phartz Partz and BugeyeGuy.

its great that you made the donation in Doug’s name. I know it would mean a lot to him. Towards the end he was working on a four way flasher adaptation for early Healeys and Sprites. I actually have a prototype for a BN4 that he gave me, shortly before he passed, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to wire it in. If you’d like to take a shot at it I’d be glad to send it to you.
Take care,
Larry

I'm ready to make another batch of extensions and have made one for the Toyota 5 speed conversion. Rather than guessing how many of each to make, they'll be made to order. Same price.
