Here's the two clutch push rods that I have for the Tunebug. The longer one came with the 1275 (in the '74 Midget donor car), and is the one I assume I should use. The shorter was the original one with the 948.

Both seem to have been worked on at some point. The 1275 seems to have been lengthed...?
 
The 1275 has been lengthened, and I think it will need to be shortened back to its original length.
 
Thanks, Frank. Looks like I'll be adding one to my next Moss order. Simpler for me than trying to cut down the one I have.
 
Yep, save the longer one just in case.
 
Drew, is your clutch fork bent?
 
I don't think so, Trevor. I had 2 to choose from, and both seemed the same.
 
OK, just checking. I've seen some bent ones.
 
So have I! In fact I could probably find one buried somewhere out in the garage! :eeek:
 
I hadn't really thought of the bent issue -- now I guess I just hope the one I picked is okay! :smile:
 
If it is bent you will need the long rod.
 
I'm keeping all the bits I have. There's a spare fork as well, so if the one I used it problematic, I've got more to try.
 
Cool, but you have to pull the engine to get to it.
