Saw a supplier selling this > What is it's advantage and how does it affect the adjustment?

If you go to British Parts North West and check out Clutch slave cylinders you will see the part. Maybe it's just for 4's and 4A's? I guess they do explain what it supposed to do I just wondered how it is physically different from an ordinary clutch slave? Haven't seen one before from other suppliers?

When you move a set volume of fluid in a master, the same volume of fluid moves in the slave. So, the only way to lengthen the throw hydraulically by altering the slave is by reducing the diameter of the slave piston. No reason this wouldn't work, but the original worked too. If conditions in your car indicate insufficient throw, I would try to figure out what is wrong with the original system - using correct hole in bell crank; worn hole in bell crank; worn clevis; worn/bent pushrod; improperly adjusted pushrod; similar issues in mechanics used to operate the master; slave in wrong position on mounting plate; mounting plate in wrong position on bell housing; support rod from pan bolt to slave missing or out of adjustment.
