Yeah, I think I will try the old fashioned way first. New paint and brake fluid don't mix well.
 
Oh yea try other ways first, this is a field expediency repair when all else fails.

That is a great trick but my question is--
why did you disconnect the line at the master, since the resivoir is empty and there is no check-valve in the system then the fluid would just go into the clutch resivior with no mess?
