should my clutch have one steel line running between the master and slave?
my current setup has 3 steel lines connected with gas line....DPO? ....zzzimmmmy

Hmm, you run the fuel through the clutch, good trick, hoho.

One line, master to clutch, that is all. Over and out.

one steel line from master to (i hope) a new rubber line to slave.

that would probably explain my lack of adequate pressure then.......how would i go about making a new steel line...
what size pipe do i need and what about fittings?
with the pedal out, should my throw out bearing be lightly touching the pressure plate? thats how it is now, but i had to shim my slave rod...
doh! , my car is thiiis far from going somewhere! ; )

[/ QUOTE ]My local advance auto had them. Just ask to look at the brake tubing and they have british ones to standard already made up in different lengths.

'ang on, 'ere. 74 right? From the master should be an adapter.3/8"-24 at the master to 7/16-20 yielding a 1/4 line to a rubber hose 7/16 to pipe to the slave with a copper washer as a seal.
