Howdy all! I'm working on replacing my clutch slave cylinder, and once I removed the existing unit, I noticed that I can move the clutch lever forward and back roughly 1/2" with no effort at all. I would appreciate thoughts about whether this is cause for concern, and if so, what might be causing it.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds normal to me. Moving it to the rear once you feel resistance it should take considerable effort (if by hand) to move it about 5/8 of an inch more to the rear.
