Clutch hose looped too low?

Greetings

Can anyone tell me if the flexible clutch hose that connects beneath the car should be hanging down in a loop, lower than the level of the frame that surrounds it? I had my clutch worked on a few months ago and I recently noticed that, although it is connected just fine, this hose is looped down so that it is less than 3" off the pavement. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. This can't be right, right?
Thanks!

Hi Randy,
The clutch line loops down under the slave cylinder, the bleed screw is on top. Sounds like your hose is too long though (how many times do you here that complaint?). Here's a photo of someone else's car that seems about right length wise.

Well now, my hose is too long! I think I'll go pour myself some Champagne and celebrate :>)

Thanks for the advice. I'll have my hose snipped. Ouch!
