How much tension should there be on the clutch fork ?
For example if I place the bell housing face down on the table and push the fork down then remove my hand should it free fall back(throwout bearing is in place) or is ok if I have to manualy pull it back.?
Its not tight or difficult to move but it's not loose enough to return just by gravity. I could loosen this tension by removing the shaft and taping the bushing down a tick. Any thoughts?
One more question .Do the bellhousing bolts go through head side to the transmmission or the engine? Thanks Bob
