Clutch Assembly

Am in the process of ordering a new clutch assembly;
any preferences out there. Engine will have about
10-20 more HP.

The increased power should be no problem at all; as this is the same clutch used in the 150 bhp TR5.

especially the part about most vendors selling the wrong AP (Borg & Beck) pressure plate.

I used a Laycock pressure plate in my TR3A (with Fidanza flywheel & TR6 clutch/gearbox) and it worked well for a long time. After perhaps 50,000 miles it does show some wear, but I didn't even get the friction plate relined when I moved it to the TR3.
 
I have a LUK with original type throwout bearing. TRF part RFK747. They have a nice brass bushing for the throwout bearing. So far, so good.
