Cloth Insulation Tape

I'm considering getting some cloth insulation tape from British Wiring. (See page 5 of the pdf, their page 8, part number 451.)

Right now, I've been using the split tubing on the Dan Master's harness I'm installing, but would like a more traditional look. Has anybody used this stuff before?? How does it look??

Art I might have some extra rolls. Uh, maybe not. The 3 uses cloth and I have vinyl.

Haven't used the cloth tape but for short sections of cloth harness cover I did this:

If you are wearing a T-Shirt grab the bottom edge of the front and take a look at the hem. If you cut the hem off that shirt, turn it inside out and paint it black you end up with a nice cloth tube about 5 feet long (depending on how big you are). Really looks pretty good in a not-to-obvious location such as the harness to the headlamps.

Black tape for hockey sticks also works fairly well for just around $3/roll.
