As I've been reading up on them lately... what about an Alfa Romeo 1750/2000 Berlina? There seem to be several about in the US, despite them being now 30-40 years old. The reason I've been reading up on them is I've been offered one, here in Cyprus. It would mean getting rid of the Capri, but it's sorely tempting, I've never owned an Alfa. Being a family-size 4 door car goes in its favour, and might work for you as a rally car too (just like the Volvo Amazon...). Whatever you choose, good luck!
