Close shave?

Quite literally. I'm at my wit's end from looking to find a good substitute for the old injector razors. Been forced into performing the ritual face scraping with "disposable" razors; BIC, Schick, Gillette, et al. Every one of 'em leaves me with a 'stubble' I find unacceptable. I don't scrape my entire face, but what gets done shouldn't feel like it needs doing again in less than an hour. Really frustrated with everything tried so far. My old Schick injector tool worked just fine but blades have become problematic to acquire. Any and all suggestions short of a straight razor considered (except electrically powered ones).

Grow a beard?
I use a Norelco. Maybe not the best shave but no blades to buy.

That micro stubble gives the Pitt/Damon look. Rock it.
Did the Pitt thing a while back.
