Cosmetically to do a mechanical survey. Jacked 'er up and started looking critically. Its' like "The Wreck of the Hesperus" under there! Both U-J's are in need of replacement, ALL the suspension bushings are shot, tranny mounts look like melted Jello... My wallet aches just thinkin' on it. Can't believe I drove it daily like that. It has sat for the better part of five years now, so I shouldn't whine. Maybe it'll be a good opportunity to put together some GOOD tech articles./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And I found an original box of BMC lower A-arm bushes... Thought I'd found 10, only four in the box. phooey.

Any bids on Genuine BMC trade packaging?!?! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Now, exactly what is "her" this time?

Doc

I'll give ya my .02

arrrggg /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif,

I look forward to the tech articles.

me thinks the doc is speaking of the '64 B... unless he got froggy and whent nutz on the Elan... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

You're right about the B Rob, but the temptation is strong. Still pluggin' away on the B. Elan's still buried under the debris pile of MGB bits-n-pieces. I'm sure I'd be on the Lotus by now if my eyes hadn't mutiny'd on me though. *sigh*

mutinous eyes have it... when they put their ayes to it, even if the "I"s don't want it.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif

Now I parrot GB1: "ARRRGGG"!

I thought about suggesting ya make the mutinous parts "walk the plank" but then thought better of it since you need eyes to drive.../ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
