ok I got the heater back in the GT
just as the snow litely dusts it.
but when i turn the key it justs gose click.
my memory form ten yearsa go is that when the starter syinoid gose it dose rappid clicks
is it the starter or the sylinoid please someone confirm
Ill give it a "wack" in the morning.
if its the starter moter can is the B starter moter the same as the midget? i got a spaire one

One click can be the solenoid and many fast clicks is a ground or battery issue. Midget starter not the same as MGB. Bob
 
ok i will give it a "wack" then if that dosent sort it i will order another
a second but maybe related issue, if i try to charge the two batterys together as 12 it blows the fuse on the charger but if i do each as six its all fine.
ideas please.

Solved!!
the white a brown wire to the starter clyinode popped off. and id fixed it with an hour of sun light to spair! amazing!

When my solenoid starter to act up some times i would get a single click and sometimes i would get nothing. Either way i got nothing in the area or a running motor.
