Clear Hooters switch repair

First little repair on the TR6.

The Clear Hooters windscreen washer rocker switch was broken: the locating holes for the rocker tabs had broken, and so the rocker wouldn't stay in the switch.

Also, the spring and rod in the rocker were long gone. I replaced those with some innards from a Porsche switch I had spare, and then drilled a small hole through the switch body and rocker, at the pivot point, and inserted a nail cut to the exact length.

Works nicely!

There is an entry for the WIKI.

Just bought your first TR6, still not on the road, but already contributing to the forum. Way to go. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif
