I also point out the whole life argument for a 1959 car still going as opposed to say 10 new cars in the same period ( conservatively allowing a new car every 10 years)

Interesting concept - thanks for sharing! I agree, as the world electrifies, there will be pressure against running a combustion engine. (Whether we agree or not is best discussed elsewhere and at the ballot box!) But this concept helps "offset" this pressure (pun intended).

Unfortunately, tree carbon capture is only effective as long as the tree is alive - once it dies, the captured carbon is released.
