Has anyone worked with Hagerty Insurance in Michigan? They are offering for $300K liability etc. $137.00 annual premium. Anyone have a favorite company? Paul in Maryland.

I just signed up with Hagerty 2 weeks ago. I thought about asking all you good folks only after I sent the check in. Like Duh! So now I'm interested in the inside scoop also. Whats the concensus out there?

What kind of driving restrictions are there? Is it one of those deals where you can only drive a few thousand miles a year? Sounds great otherwise.

I'm in California, so my rates are a little higher 167.00. Still I think thats pretty good.There is a 3000 Mi limit per year but they let you set your own value on the car. AAA was around 300.00 for similar coverage.

I'll chime in here since I also have classic insurance (OK, not a Jag.....a 25 year old Spridget that I have a declared value of $4000)

100,000 body inj/prop damage, 100,000 uninsured motorist, collison and comprehensive (no deductable on either), and towing. 2,500 miles a year driving allowed.

Premium = $52.31 / yr.

This is through "American Bankers Insurance in Miami, Fla" (NJ agent is "American Collectors Insurance"). Very responsive and helpful over the phone.....no claims so far (knock burled wood) so I don't know what they're *really* like.

I just checked the American as well and they are about $85.00 for the Jag with the $300K limits. It sounds good but where's the catch? Paul.
