"Butterflies an' zebras..."

saw it 2 weeks ago. Would love to see that tour. I'm a HUGE Traffic fan

We saw the two of them live at Madison Square Garden a year ago - birthday present to me from my wife :yesnod:

That's th' one! Musta been that show they're runnin' now on "Great Performances", Larry!
Did ya wave at the cameras? :jester:

I was talking to a friend at a party last weekend and he was wearing a tee-shirt he bought at the MSG event.

Ever since I heard ~This, from Blind Faith~ in college, it has always been my favorite song.
I like this particular version too.

Doc, did you see the Cream reunion on PBS a year or so ago?? Clapton, Baker, Bruce singing a ton of the old Cream songs.

And, they sounded GREAT! To me, one of the greatest sounds in rock music: a big wall full of the Marshall amps, with Clapton's wizardry blasting your wig off! And, Baker sweating his butt off, working like a dog on the double bass drums. Jack's voice was a little wobbly, but good enough.

If you're a fan of any of those guys, or of R&B music, you've GOT to catch that PBS broadcast. I had it running through my stereo system, darn near blew the roof off my TV room when "Crossroads" came on!

Great stuff. I think Winwood did a few tunes as well. The white Ray Charles, they called him.

Nial- thank you very much for that. My day will be a lot bright now!

The Mr. Fantasy with out Clapton at the guitar festival was smokin too.
It's right below it on the right.

I don't think the cameras could have sen me through all of the smoke! Haven't seen that much pot in one place in years  MSG security was pretty tolerant, to say the least!

Larry

Yep, got one of those tee-shirts myself!

I caught it earlier this week. GREAT performance.

Yup, had it blowin' thru the stereo. Tolerant neighbors!

I did see the Cream PBS show, too. I still get goosebumps from that stuff.

Even gettin' 'em now listenin' to thatwith Nial's link thru these tin speakers on my 'pooter.

Thanks, man!
