Question for all - I have 72 spoke painted wire wheels on my Blue/White 100 Six. I'm quite fond of the chromed versions and want to make the switch. Preferences and experiences with Daytons, Dunlops, others? The Daytons supposedly do not need adjusting? Has anyone found this to be true or marketing hype? Fit/finish consistent and acceptable? Anyone know of a reputable source?
Dunlops have a rather scary "Supplemental" on Moss: https://www.mossmotors.com/graphics/products/PDF/980-222.pdf Not that it's so tough to call around to have these correctly mounted, but if the Daytons are truly maintenance free, perhaps a reason to go with those? Sourcing these from Moss also looks incredibly expensive. Hoping to find a cheaper alternative, but I think my options are limited.
Anyone want a set of painted wires when I get these chromes?!
