chrome switches?

I am looking to replace a few switches in my 79 Midget (headlight and hazard). I noticed some people selling chrome switches from MGB's and earlier models. Can anyone tell me if there is any interchangability between late model Lucas switches and earlier ones/MGB's?
 
I know when I restored my '70 MGB I was able to just buy new "chrome" bezels. I do know that if the rockers are illuminated the bezel is built into the switch. The bezel in my '70 is 1 1/4" wide by 1 7/8" tall.. Hope that helps!
