Chrome Softtop Snaps?

Howdy folks!

One of the large snaps broke off my soft top today. I have some replacement snaps that came with a kit, but... they are black. The large snaps on my soft top are chrome.

And doing a search on the Big Three, and Rimmer Brother only shows black and white snaps: no chrome!

So, anyone know where I can get a chrome snap? I suppose really all I need is the top of the snap, since I have the other parts of the snap.

Any help would be appreciated!

I bought a lift the dot installation punch from them, about half the price offered by the usual suspects.

Bought mine at a local fabric and craft store.
They even have a good installation tool which is better than the punch and anvil type.

You can go to Lowes, Home Depot or a marine store. Any of these will carry a snap kit which generally includes the necessary tool. I picked up a nice assortment kit at West Marine.

Go incognito though , they are definitely "NO MAN LAND!"

Even carry them at Wally-Mart. I assume by 'chrome' you mean nickel-plated. Shiny but not as shiny as chrome.

Stick with the ones from at least a marine store. They will be rust proof. Trust me, anything else is a bad thing. I have always used Dot-brand. Stainless or brass.

I have not run across any size issues with snaps, they seem to be a standard size.
