Chrome Plater's

Any comment on these platers?
https://www.starbrightchromeplating.com/
and https://www.nu-chrome.com/services.htm

I am ideally looking for: dissassemble, repair (ie. repair dents, restore shape, etc.), top quality chrome plate, reassembly. I know the assemble/reassemble is a bit much to ask, and it all boils down to price. I did find a place on the 'net where the guy stated quite explicitly that he did not want rare, one of a kind parts because it wasn't worth the grief it things went sour.

Well Mr_ Mxyztplk, with no knowledge of the platers you have referenced. A perusal of their capabilities and testimonials suggests that they have the capability to do "Top Quality Plating" . However, I do not know of any plater that will assume the responsibility to disassemble / reassemble your parts. That responsibility lies with the customer.--Fwiw--Keoke

Keoke,I saw that on there website's as well. I also contacted them, and nu-chrome said they do disassembly "for a fee", and starbrighttold me they repair and plate, did not ask about disassembly and reassembly. I know it is not typically offered. Just looking for independent testimonials. These look like fairly large outfits.
