Chrome crazy!

I've got a bunch of wire around here, maybe I should look into it.

When I was young my stepfather was a lineman and he would regularly have bonfires and toss in rolls of wire at home in the back yard.
Once the fire died down we would collect the wire and he would head off and sell it. Probably illegal on many fronts, but I was a kid then and he's dead now so Bob's your uncle.

The waiting on the check (and leaving a copy of your ID) is about the only way they've been able to minimize theft. It's a serious problem. Copper and aluminum are just too valuable these days.
