Christmas

Christmas? Last I checked, the tree in my living room still has at least one more holiday until it becomes a Christmas tree again.

We are working in the attic trying to get through the rewire, so the christmas tree in the living room has been the running joke all year. At least we took the decorations off around Feb. But it has been a hoot as people come to the door to see the look on their faces as they look over our shoulders at this huge christmas tree sitting there like it belonged. When we get the attic back together, it's going to be more than a little weird without it.

First Christmas with a grandchild (he'll be 7 months)...even though we were all over the world in the Army, Jerri & I made sure we were always at home - wherever home was - on Christmas...no trips to family until after...talked with daughter & son-in-law & they want to continue that...they also feel kids should wake up on Christmas morning in their own bed...so, for the next 1 or so years we're gonna spend Christmas with them (his parents will spend it with his sister)!

Golly, goodness, gee whiz. Went a different way out of the subdivision this morning and noticed the guy at the end of my street has his Christmas lights and decorations up.

I'm speechless.

mmmm...I'm insulted...

I leave for Korea 3 December, return 21 Dec...I ordered the little guy's private "grampa" gift today - nobody knows what it is except me (heck, his mom/dad don't even know I'm doing it)..everybody thinks he's getting a gift from gramma & me...hehehehe

Heck,I've seen people who have their lights up by July!Another way of saying that you've had your light up too long!

Lotsa people around here leave their light up all year, unplugged, extention cord dangling down....Iscicle(sp?) lights gangling from the garage in July....Come december they plug them in and everything lights right up.
NOW, I take them down, carefully store everything, check all the bulbs....and I still never get them to work properly without hours of fiddling!

Ah, Jack - he'll be 7 months at Christmas & I'm getting him his first set of tools...they're squishy & make sounds & rattle...screwdriver, wrench, hammer stuff like that but they're soft.

&, yep, his TD is in the shop..actually, the entire GarageMahal is his! Along with all its contents (that's what my will says!)

Tony, I did't know Moss carried those? hehe.

I wonder, I just wonder if the little guys TD is not in the paint shop?
